Legolas von Lieber is a gorgeous 14 month old Shepherd mix. Like his namesake in the Lord of the Rings’ series, Legolas has the dreamiest white-blonde elfish looks (and the most wonderful personality to match!). He is mid energy and loves to play with his doggy friends, but can also chill out and sit next to you while you work. Legolas is great on leash and easy to walk alone or with another dog. He is housebroken and crate-trained, and will fit perfectly into any family who adopts him. Legolas has a shaved back due to an attack by another dog (he was not the aggressor in the fight and, in fact, was trying his hardest to run away), but the hair has grown back quickly. Being a forgiving guy, he still loves other dogs and his foster mom says he does not have a shy bone in his body when it comes to saying hi to his four-legged friends. He currently lives with two other big dogs and loves them both, but is also wonderful with small dogs. He does sometimes get pushy when other dogs are receiving more attention than him. Legolas loves going on walks, rough-housing with the resident pup, playing fetch, receiving belly rubs, meeting new friends (he loves kids too!) and eating bananas. Legolas is still somewhat a puppy but does not chew on things and is extremely respectful. If you would like to be his lucky, forever mom or dad, fill out an application soon.
